The Juvéderm Treatment Process
The Juvéderm injection process takes only about 15 minutes and results are immediately visible. Plus, there's minimal recovery or downtime. So you can step into Dr. Larsen's office for treatment and then step right back into your life. Because Juvéderm now contains lidocaine, you can undergo a more comfortable treatment than collagen fillers of the past.
Beneath your skin, the hyaluronic acid (HA) in Juvéderm binds to water and combines with your naturally occurring HA. The result is a temporary enhancement of tissue volume and a smoother appearance on the skin.
Possible Side Effects of Juvéderm Treatment
In clinical trials with Juvéderm, side effects were usually mild to moderate, lasting seven days or less, and included temporary injection site reactions like redness, pain, firmness, swelling and bumps.
